HISTORY
Faculty of Social and Political Sciences traces back to 1984 when two undergraduate programs were formally opened by the Directorate General of Higher Education Decree. In 1985, the two programs, Undergraduate Program of Sociology and Public Administration commenced under the Faculty of Law. In 1993, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences was established and the two programs moved to the new Faculty. The other two Undergraduate programs were opened later; Communication Studies in 1998 and Political Sciences in 2000. The last Undergraduate Program to be opened under the Faculty was International Relations in 2010. The Master Program was first commenced in 2001 with the opening of Master in Public Administration. In 2015, Master in Sociology was opened, followed by Master in Communication in 2016.
